The Dominating (horse) & The Downtrodden (rider):
In this relationship, your horse has taken over control. Some riders are even afraid of their horse. You may doubt whether or not your horse respects you. Your horse may bite at you, buck you off, run out of the riding house or be very uneasy in the stable corridor. As a rider, you may have difficulties gaining control and falling short โ both concerning your horse and during the training. Youโre upset and close to giving up, but since you love your horse more than anything, youโll keep going.ย
The Teacher (horse) & The Student (rider):
Your horse is often further in its education than you are in your training.
It can seem stubborn and you may sense itโs trying to conflict ride with you.
You can also have a horse, thatโs completely available and helps you become a better rider with its love, inclusiveness, and patience. You know that there isnโt anything your horse wouldnโt do for you.ย
The Child (horse) & The Protector (rider):
Your horse will be in the category โThe Kidโ or โThe Sensitiveโ. Either it is too rough and gets injured easily or it has a sensitive body that makes it โbreak easilyโ.ย
Youโre worried about its well-being. In many ways, you may seem โoverprotectiveโ. Although you certainly understand your horse the best, you may need to give space and listen to othersโ advice if you can take them in.ย
The Star (horse) & The Overachiever (rider):
Your horse is talented. Itโs well-suited for competitions and loves to train and be shown to the world. As a rider, you have ambitions and are a perfectionist. You know that your finest task is to find the balance between having a horse and motivating it by understanding its mind.ย
The Connected:
You sense that your horse only sees you as โweโ.ย
You feel it, you breathe together, both from the ground and while being on it. You know what it thinks and your horse understands your signals without you even showing them with your seat or your legs.
You know that youโll never get a horse like this again, therefore you guard it with your life.ย
