You can think of Helgstrand Dressage as you wish. And there are many divided opinions in the horse industry.
I’ve only met Andreas once when I held a clinic at the Oslo Horse Show. I also know he once declined the opportunity to participate in a clinic with Claus Toftgaard and me, which we held for a stallion show.
They’ve shown me how the riding and the training took place. I’ve also treated an incredible number of horses from Helgstrand Dressage. A thing they all had in common was that they had neck injuries at the age of 5.
As a result, my impression โ without knowing the company โ is not very optimistic. He most likely is not near taking me and my values seriously.
Horses actually CAN communicate.
Even though many people in 2023 still don’t believe that horses have independent thoughts or possess any emotional faculties.
Based on what the horses I’ve treated from Helgstrand have shown me, it’s been strictly business.
The facade is pretty, but no one has distinguished between the individual horse and what it needs. Instead, they shoved it into a timeframe focused on improving the horse to sell it quickly.
Do any of you remember when Operation X went after the clairvoyants in 2008?
They had created a fictitious webpage where they told the story of a man who had died in a motorbike accident. The clairvoyants they visited โ also with a hidden camera โ “saw” that an accident had happened and the man was dead. Read more about the case here (in Danish).
As such, they intercepted the fictitious story since there is energy in everything you do, say, feel, etc. It’s the job.
Intercepting energy, whether it’s fictitious or not. Even though it was fiction, they succeeded in intercepting the energies related to the story.
Unfortunately, my colleagues, who downright got roasted in the show, didn’t realize that something was awry, thus refusing the client who arrived with a hidden camera in their shirt.
Idols are often those who win something.
Denmark is doing well. We have exceptional equestrians who take home a lot of medals.
But if we are to have proper idols, then we also โ in my opinion โ need to judge them differently.
The greatest equestrians can make it look easy. But that’s not the case for the horse. They have been working hard, training and training to repeatedly showcase these techniques.
Historically, showcasing techniques has not gone as smoothly as watching an equestrian show.
I’ve overheard many professional riders and coaches say: “The horse doesn’t know how to do it” or “The horse doesn’t understand.”
And every time they say something like that, they must also believe that the horse understands one or the other thing from their humans.
But the other side of the coin is this: It’s not the horse who doesn’t know how to do it. It’s the rider!
For several years following 2008, my clients consistently asked me whether I had googled them beforehand.
All professional therapists with respect for themselves will laugh now.
You know, as well as I do, that you don’t google your clients.
You don’t feel like it or have the time for it, and why on earth would you even do it?
I quickly learned to only ask for the horse’s nickname and nothing else.
Consequently, the people around me would know I would need help to Google the horse, sit, and spend numerous hours researching its history.
And by the way, this has no relevance, as horses always tell how they feel in the MOMENT, not pondering their past.
However, none of my colleagues filed suit against OperationX.
Many of us alternative therapists out here are used to being shamed or scorned.
In a time where #metoo or #blacklivesmatter are prominent themes, it’s still okay to speak derogatorily about another person’s profession. Yes, humanity has a long way to go, I think.
With that being said! I know you shouldn’t believe everything you see on television.
I have a past in the television industry, and I’m often on the screen in different shows, or my colleagues and good friends are.
They can do this by editing and creating an angle that will become newsworthy and create debates.
However, you can only edit something filmed on tape, which we saw in the documentary from Helgstrand Dressage and their cruelties against the horses during training.
Remember, this program creates new ways of thinking in the future.
There are always two angles to the same issue, which you must remember in this heated debate on social media, where people are flaming each other and disagreeing vehemently. We should stand together instead of fighting.
A few months ago, I created an open Facebook group. I got tired of seeing people who love their animals have no issues sitting behind a screen and writing rude comments to and about each other.
That is why I have created a positive Facebook group that is open to everyone. The membership is increasing rapidly. There are members from all over Scandinavia, and I’m thrilled to see that.
